Ny e-utbildning för maskinförare på mottagningsplatser

Biometria lanserar en ny efterfrågad e-utbildning för maskinförare som hanterar kontrollstockar och kontrolltravar på mottagningsplatser. De så kallade kontrollobjekten är en viktig del för att upprätthålla kvaliteten på virkesmätningen. En god hantering av kontrollobjekt är viktigt, bland annat för att möjliggöra uppföljning av mätningar och mätmetoder. Om kontrollobjekten inte hanteras på rätt sätt kan kontrollmätningen resultera i ett facit som inte stämmer. Utbildningen syftar därför till att ge maskinförare rätt kunskaper för att hantera kontrollobjekten på ett korrekt sätt.

Utbildningen genomförs som e-utbildning men det går även att komplettera den med en praktisk lärarledd dag som leds av någon av Biometrias kvalitetsledare. Den praktiska dagen anpassas efter mottagningsplatsens behov och förutsättningar.

I utbildningen får maskinförarna bland annat lära sig:

  • vad ett kontrollobjekt är och vad de används till
  • hur kontrollobjekt ska hanteras för att inte påverka mätresultatet
  • vad de ansvarar för vid hanteringen av kontrollobjekt

− Den här typen av e-utbildningen är efterfrågad och rätt väg att gå för att höja kompetensen hos maskinförare kring den viktiga hanteringen av kontrolltravar och kontrollstockar, säger Jonas Törnsten, som är chef för Mätningskvalitet.

Varför behövs utbildningen?

Wictoria Heney-Muussikka, kvalitetsledare som varit med och skrivit manus, berättar att maskinförarnas dagliga hantering av kontrollobjekt är viktig då Biometrias mätning baseras på resultatet från kontrollmätningen av dessa.

− Genom kontrollmätning kan vi garantera att de provenheter som vi mäter in är korrekta, att alla stockar är med och att det är rätt trave som är lossad. Då slipper vi onödiga fel och ökar säkerheten för att göra vår mätning så bra som möjligt. Vi slipper onödigt jobb med felsökningar som ibland tyvärr leder till fel resultat och makulering av prov, berättar Wictoria Heney-Mussikka.

Biometria utbildning besökte SCA:s timmerterminal och Norra Skogs såg

I samband med besöket på SCA:s timmerterminal i Östavall och Norra Skogs såg i Hissmofors träffade Biometria Utbildning både maskin- och timmerbilsförare samt kvalitetsledare. Syftet med besöken var att följa processen på plats och samtidigt filma och fota innehåll till utbildningen.

- Genom att vara på plats ute i verksamheten kan vi skapa utbildningsmaterial som är anpassat till målgruppernas specifika behov och som blir ett stöd i deras arbete. På det här sättet säkerställer vi att innehållet i våra utbildningar är så bra som möjligt, säger Monica Bylund, ansvarig Biometria Utbildning.
