Ekonomiavdelningen rustar för övergången till VIOL 3
Biometrias ekonomiavdelningen har kommit långt med sina förberedelser inför Go Live av VIOL 3. Biometrias CFO, Helena Sandström Wallin, berättar här mer om vad som görs.
I förberedelserna är det främst två projekt i fokus, dessa löper parallellt. Det ena projektet är arbete med det underlag som ligger till grund för artikeluppsättningen eftersom Biometria byter prismodell i samband med Go Live av VIOL 3. Mappningen av artiklar samt prissättningen är i slutskedet och från Ekonomiavdelningen är det Lucian Macaveiu som främst fokuserar på detta projekt samt har ett tätt samarbete med avdelningen för Tjänsteutveckling på Biometria.
– Eftersom prismodellen ser helt annorlunda ut för VIOL 3 så har det varit nödvändigt att byta artikeluppsättning och det nära samarbetet mellan oss och avdelningen för Tjänsteutveckling har varit en viktig framgångsfaktor för projektet, säger Helena Sandström-Wallin.

Det andra stora projektet är hur faktureringen ska fungera från VIOL 3. Det är ett komplext arbete där man just nu tillverkar ett försystem dit VIOL 3 först ska skicka in den information som sedan ska gå vidare över till Biometrias ekonomisystem.
Projektet ligger i VIOL 3-programmet under Leveransområde Tillverkning med projektledare Pa Jallow i spetsen, men arbetet sker i tätt samarbete med Malin Strid och Tommy Johansson från Ekonomiavdelningen. Förutom att försystemet ska tillverkas ska det även testas ordentligt och eventuella buggar ska rättas.

– Det är många detaljer att tänka på och mycket handlar om att effektivisera informationsströmmarna till vårt ekonomisystem för att faktureringen ska fungera på ett bra sätt. Fakturorna kommer att se annorlunda ut för våra kunder, men det beror främst på den nya paketeringen av våra tjänster. De största förändringarna är interna och kommer inte att märkas för våra kunder, säger Helena.
Omläggningsperioden beskriver Helena som extra speciell att förbereda avdelningen inför, eftersom prismodellen skiljer sig åt beroende på om det är VIOL 2 eller VIOL 3. Och eftersom fakturaunderlagen kommer från olika system behöver ekonomiavdelningen ha kontroll över vilken information som kommer från vilket system in till Biometrias ekonomisystem för att allt ska fungera.
– Vi måste säkerställa att vi får till en bra intäktsuppföljning när vi samkör två olika system och prismodeller så att vi säkerställer våra intäkter samt fakturerar korrekt ut mot våra kunder under hela perioden.
Fokus för hösten 2024 är att säkerställa att faktureringen fungerar så att försystemet kan börja testas så att projektet går i mål innan Go Live. Våren 2025 beskriver Helena som något mer hektisk med fullt fokus på Go Live och övergången till den nya prismodellen.
– Det dagliga arbetet ska fortsätta att snurra parallellt med alla förberedelser inför Go Live eftersom vi har många beröringspunkter mot andra avdelningar så som Kundservice och Marknadsavdelningen. En av framgångsfaktorerna för oss har varit det nära samarbetet med de andra avdelningarna. Vi förbereder oss alla inför VIOL 3 på olika sätt och utan ett bra samarbete och dialog hade det aldrig gått, avslutar Helena.
