Instruction Activate Two-step Verification for your Biometria Account
Senast uppdaterad: 2025-06-04
Introduction
To sign in and use Biometria's VIOL 3 services, you need to use two-step verification.
You can use one or two devices when you activate two-step verification.
Examples of two devices could be a computer and a phone or tablet. If you have two devices, the camera on the device where the app is installed can be used to scan a QR code, avoiding the need to switch between apps.
If you only have one device, it must be a phone or tablet where an app for two-step verification is installed.
This instruction shows you how to enable two-step verification using the Microsoft Authenticator app.
The abbreviation MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication) is often used instead of two-step verification. Note that in this document, MFA will be used when describing Multi-Factor Authentication.
Conditions
This instruction requires that you have a Biometria account and that you have downloaded an MFA app on your device.
Download the app where you normally download apps. Biometria recommends the Microsoft Authenticator app.
